Goldie Hawn is a doting mother-of-three, but her famous daughter Kate Hudsonclaims she has a favorite child.
The 78-year-old actress— who recentlyrevealed what first attracted her to longtime love Kurt Russell — said that Kate 'thinks Oliver [Hudson]'s my favorite' while on Kelly Ripa's Let's Talk Off Camera podcast.
'I tried to say to her, "You know, nobody's really my favorite. ... You're all different,' Hawn responded.
'But the truth is,' she said, '... [your] firstborn is always one of the most interesting and memorable experiences, particularly because you don't have other children.
'You only have one — until you have the second one, if that's what you're gonna do — and that's what happened,' Hawn said.

Hawn shares Kate, 45, and Oliver, 47, with ex-husband Bill Hudson, and is mum to son Wyatt Russell, 37, with partner Kurt Russell. The blonde beauty is also stepmum to Kurt's son Boston Russell, 44.
When the starlet was pregnant with Kate, she shared: 'I thought, 'How am I ever gonna love another child the way I love my firstborn?
'The answer came when Katie was born, and that is that we have so much love in our heart that you just can't even measure it,' said the SPF-18 star shared, 'That's what happened.'
She went on to share a moment about Kate's early acting days when interviewers would ask about Hawn.
'I told her, "The truth of the matter is we have to embrace each other,"' she expressed to Ripa, 53.
'I mean, yes, you're gonna talk about me, and one day I'm gonna talk about you. And I'm gonna be Katie's mother, and that could be pretty cool,' she went on.
The mother-daughter duo remain close and publicly express support for one another's careers.
In celebration of Kate's 45th birthday back in April, the Oscar winner posted a nostalgic photo of the two of them on Instagram.
'Happy birthday, my darling daughter @katehudson,' Hawn captioned the post.
'Among all the things you have already accomplished in your life — amazing mother, great dancer, Academy Award-nominated actress, and now a fantastic singer — let us not forget you were the fastest runner in high school and all of LA!
'SO KEEP ON RUNNING SWEETHEART. You’re a RACEHORSE. I love you ❤️,' Hawn finished.
The blonde beauty thanked her mom in the comment writing: 'Haha! Mama you’re the best! Being fast is still my favorite accomplishment. Catch me if you can!! Love you so much ❤️.'
